Salon booking and payments software for Saskatoon salons

FlatPurse Flow is salon software built in Edmonton for salons in Saskatoon and across Canada. It runs bookings, payments, clients and staff in one app. Its AI Front Desk answers clients, and AutoPilot recovers no-shows and fills last-minute gaps so your chairs stay booked.

What Saskatoon salons use Flow for

  • Online booking, 24/7. Clients pick a service, stylist and time from your booking page and can pay online.
  • No-Show Recovery. About an hour after a missed appointment, Flow messages the client with an easy rebook link.
  • Last-Minute Slot Filler. A cancelled slot is offered to clients who want an earlier time.
  • AI Front Desk. Answers booking questions and books appointments while you're with a client.
  • Payments in the chair. Credit and Interac with Tap to Pay on your iPhone, tips included. No terminal to buy.
  • Daily Brief. A morning summary of today's bookings, yesterday's revenue and what needs your attention.

Built for Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan businesses charge 5% GST. Provincial sales tax is 6%: it applies to retail products, and whether it applies to a service depends on the service, so Flow lets you choose whether to charge PST on services. Deposits aren't taxed; tax is charged on the final bill. Check Saskatchewan's PST bulletins or your accountant for your own services.

Flow was built on the Prairies, a few hours west of Broadway Avenue. Saskatoon salons downtown, on Broadway and out in Stonebridge know a quiet Tuesday costs as much as a busy Saturday earns, and Flow's AutoPilot is built to fill those quiet hours.

“I built Flow in Edmonton because I watched salon owners lose money to empty chairs and marketplace fees they couldn't see. Flow fills the chair, takes the payment and never takes a cut of a new client.”

George Ogunbande, Founder, FlatPurse Flow

No marketplace commission

Flow never takes a cut when a new client books you. Card payments are Stripe's standard rates, paid by your shop: 2.7% + 20¢ tapped, 30¢ flat for Interac and 2.9% + 30¢ online.
